How to make solid, homemade and natural aloe vera shampoo

Everyone knows or has heard about the beneficial properties of aloe vera for hair. We talked a long time ago about how to have this plant at home and use it to make aloe vera gel to make the most of this and other properties.

We also saw how to make a natural and liquid shampoo with aloe vera gel, but this recipe is a very easy to use solid shampoo ideal for example when we go on a trip and also serves as the body soap.

We have also seen many homemade and natural shampoo recipes, from vinegar and bicarbonate to more sophisticated recipes.

Today we bring a simple solution that unlike other methods does not leave the hair dry and also helps with the most common hair problems from hair loss, shine or thick.

With this solid aloe shampoo, you can wash your hair, leaving it clean, strong and without the use of toxic substances that common cosmetics possess.

Ingredients to make homemade shampoo.

1 penca (leaf) of Aloe Vera.
1 rosemary leaf (fresh).
Half a kilo of glycerin soap.
2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
150 ml of mineral or filtered water.
2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil.

In a blender or with a mixer or another kitchen robot, mix the water, the aloe vera leaf, and the rosemary.

Then place the mixture obtained in a bain-marie and when it is hot we are gradually putting the gilcerina soap chopped with a razor or grated so that it is easier to finally integrate the lemon and almond oil.

When it is well melted, we must place it in a rectangular mold, let it harden and cut into small rectangles (it yields more than one bar). You can use wax paper or similar to wrap the solid and natural shampoo and thus preserve it, it is also ideal to give to our friends.

How to use this homemade shampoo

Once moisturized the hair rub the entire area with the solid shampoo and massage gently to penetrate into the scalp. The idea is to let it act between 5 to 15 minutes and then remove by rinsing the hair well with clean water. It is advisable to use it one to three times a week.

It lasts many months without problems, it can be kept at room temperature and if possible not exposed directly to sunlight.

Where to get the ingredients.

The ingredients can be found in natural products stores or even in online stores, many like the Romero or the Aloe Vera is best to get them in places where they sell plants and have them at home since they have many uses and grow even indoors and in pots without problems.

If we do not get fresh Aloe Vera we can buy the gel in natural products stores.

Read carefully the ingredients to see if you have no allergy to any of these and, if possible, test on a lock of hair the first time.

If you do not feel like it or just do not want to or can make our own cosmetics and hygiene products, know that there are already many healthier and more natural options on the market, including bar shampoos.
